Sometimes when we’re given a research assignment, we don’t know where to start.

And then — when we finally find some information — we don’t know which parts of it to use, or how to use it.

The GWSC Pathfinders site has been developed to help you with these challenges. If your teacher has requested one, then there is a Pathfinder on your topic.

Pathfinders point you towards relevant information in the library, on the internet, and in digital resources like Britannica Online or the school’s ClickView collection. The Pathfinder may also describe or review some of these resources, and give you some general tips for your research.

We hope you will find the pathfinders useful as you complete your assignment.
